Alyosha no Megacine. A film-report and a unique document of the current state of mind in Estonia. After the country gained independence in 1991, most of the monuments established by the Soviet government were eliminated. In the center of the city, however, the Bronze Soldier, popularly called Alyosha, continued to stand. But in 2007, different views on history led to the “bronze night”, tragic clashes and the dismantling of the monument.
