性家族 no Megacine. A critique of the Japanese family, seen here as militaristic, absurdly incestuous and patriarchal. Nihilistic destruction by the young ones seems to be the only way out. This should be seen as Wakamatsu’s answer to Nagisa Oshima’s The Ceremony, made in the same year.
